my job! Where else do you get the opportunity
to be with kids, teach kids, and ACT like a kid??!!
Through the eyes of my 6 and 7 year olds, I get to believe in Santa,
the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, and magic......all over again!

I have been teaching children for 14 years. I began in a
private school teaching 2nd grade to 30-37 students! Seriously!
I was recruited to this fabulous district 7 years ago.
I have a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education
and a Masters Degree in Reading.
I am also a Certified Reading Specialist.
And....yes, I continue to take educational courses to
further my expertise & keep up on educational trends.

I have been married to my husband, Noah, for 11 years.
He's always telling me...
"You're the best SUMMER WIFE a guy could ask for!"
Summer = clean house, REAL dinners, energetic conversation.
Seriously though, he just knows that once school starts,
my students become my life!
