The Mathematics curriculum encompasses the essential areas of computational fluency, conceptual understanding of number relationships and problem-solving. Students are grouped by skill and ability in grades 3, 4 and 5 to ensure an appropriate pace and level of enrichment. Additionally, students in these grades are provided an opportunity for acceleration of content, based on prior performance, curriculum-based assessments, teacher recommendation, and standardized tests.
Approved curricular materials include the Scott Foresman—Addison Wesley Mathematics Series. |
