Hillendale Teacher Named Citadel Heart of Learning Teacher Of The Year

Cathy Cippolini, a Kindergarten teacher at Hillendale Elementary School, was named Elementary Citadel Heart of Learning Teacher of the Year. Cathy was one of 3,400 teachers in Chester County nominated for this honor, and ultimately became one of 15 finalists. Her selection as Teacher of the Year is a tribute to her ceaseless devotion to children, her commitment to excellence in education, and her dedication to our school community.

Cathy Cippolini is one of over 700 servant leaders in our school district. At the start of the school year, we are reminded that each of us is a teacher. Whether serving in the cafeteria, maintaining our buildings, driving our students to school, teaching in our classrooms, assuring the health and safety of students and staff, supporting teaching, learning, and the operations of the district, or serving in leadership, we are teachers. Each day we are given the opportunity to demonstrate our pride in performance, professional skills, and commitment to public education. Each day, we are challenged to be role models for the children of Unionville-Chadds Ford.
