Dr. Constantino is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at Washington University in St. Louis. Much of his work focuses on disorders of social development in children such as autism, abnormally aggressive behavior and personality disorder. Dr. Constantino is an expert on genetic and environmental factors that play a role in early social development. He is a leader in the search for genetic influences that contribute to autism. In his lecture, he will discuss recent work and findings in the field of autism research. This presentation will take a closer look at the biological factors including genetics that may contribute to autism.

Presented by: The Avon Grove Special Education Department announces Dr. Dean Mooney

Dr. Mooney is a well known, Licensed Clinical and Nationally Certified School Psychologist who has presented across the United States, Canada and England. He is the author of “Nonverbal Learning Disability: A Guide to School Success”. Dr. Mooney founder of the Maple Leaf Clinic in Vermont focuses on assessments, therapy, consultation (clinical and educational), supervision and professional development.
