First Grade “Puppy-isms”
to make you chuckle!

These are things I've overheard, been told, or asked.....really!!!

"Mrs. Kahn, when you color your hair in, it needs to be brown up at the tippy top too, not just yellow."

"The copyright of the book is 2002....were we even around?"

"How old are you Mrs. Kahn cause my dad is 37 and my mom.....I think she's  52."

As the end of the day draws near and we are attempting to pack, do jobs, and squeeze in
 show and tell, kids are coming up to me left and right, so I am "barking" orders out loud like:
 "You go to the bathroom, you ties your shoes, you clean up your table, and you get moving just a little faster....."  suddenly one of my students comes up to me and says,
"MY GOSH MRS. KAHN, I COME HERE TO GET AWAY FROM MY MOTHER
AND NOW YOU SOUND JUST LIKE HER!"
