Centennial Parade
The Unionville Chadds Ford School district will be celebrating its momentous 100-year anniversary with a spectacular centennial parade! On October 6, join us in commemorating a century of academic excellence, community, and cherished memories. The parade promises to be a dazzling display of school spirit, featuring students, alumni and community members marching proudly together. School floats will be accompanied by our cheer teams, dance team and school mascots. Our renowned marching band will provide exhilarating musical performances, filling the air with melodies of celebration.
This parade will be a testament to the rich history and bright future of our district, and we invite everyone to come together in honor of this significant milestone before the homecoming game. Let's make this centennial celebration an unforgettable event for generations to come!
In an effort to provide an easier transition for students and families wishing to attend the parade, UCFSD will have an early dismissal on Friday, October 6, 2023. Please see the dismissal schedule below:
Secondary: 1:30 p.m.
Elementary: 2:30 p.m.
UCFSD school groups have been identified and invited to participate in the centennial parade. Additionally, we invite alumni to sign up to march together in the parade. Any alumni wishing to march in the parade should complete the participant registration form linked below.
In order for our Centennial Parade to be a success, we will need many volunteers to help organize and run the event. Parking is available at St. Michael's parking lot, the Doe Run Parking lot by the traffic circle, the UCFSD Bus Garage, the front lot of Unionville High School, and on the fields adjacent to the access road. Please click the spectator parking map linked below.

CONCESSIONS & HOMECOMING
Food will be available for purchase starting at 6:00 p.m. at the stadium concession stand prior to the start of the homecoming football game. A ticket to the homecoming game is needed to enter ($5/ticket, senior citizens and children in kindergarten or younger are free). Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
