Unionville-Chadds Ford School District

Budget

A student walks out of school smiling on the last day

The Unionville-Chadds Ford School District Board of School Directors carefully stewards our budget, ensuring every dollar supports the District’s vision, mission, and core values, and serves our community.

The General Fund Budget includes projections for all revenue as well as instructional, extracurricular, and operational expenses.

The annual budgeting process begins in September when the State of Pennsylvania sets the Act 1 Index. Because the Board resolves for tax increases to remain within this limit, UCFSD releases a Preliminary Proposed General Fund Budget in April and a Final Proposed General Fund Budget in May. The Board annually adopts the Final General Fund Budget in June.
