UCF STEM Design Challenge

All 3rd-5th graders are invited to participate in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Design Competition we will be holding on Monday May 21st. The competition will be held at Unionville High School, in the cafeteria and will take place from 4-6PM.

Transportation to and from the event will need to be provided by parents. Students wanting to participate should form teams of 3-4 students, and register for the event together. The evening of the competition students will be presented with a challenge and all the supplies needed to compete. They will have time to design, test, revise and finalize their design during the competition. Each team will need one parent representative to remain at the high school during the event.

WHAT: STEM Design Challenge

WHEN: Monday May 21st

WHERE: Unionville High School Cafeteria


NEEDED: Teams of THREE to FOUR students and a parent willing to chaperone.

COST: $10/per team (due at the door)

NOTE: If your child is being transported home from the event by someone, they will need a dismissal note granting permission.

Please complete the registration form AS A TEAM (register only once per team). The registration form can be found on the district website starting April 23rd and will close once 125 teams are registered. Please print the code of conduct and bring it with you, along with $10 per team on May 21st.
