Nutrition Information

Fruits and vegetables are packed with important nutrients. Each color fruit and vegetable provides a high amount of a different nutrient that does something good for your body.  For example, red vegetables have lycopene, orange veggies have carotenoids (which turn into vitamin A) and orange/yellow fruits have vitamin C. This is why it's important to try and eat the rainbow!

UCFSD Food Services provides a variety of colors of fruits and vegetables every week!
