Required Employee Clearance Information

 

All employees must renew the following clearances every five years by the expiration date to maintain employment.

Clearance reports may take up to 14 days to be received, so please plan accordingly.

FBI Criminal History Record Check (Act 114)  Cost $22.35

You must be fingerprinted at a PDE approved IdentoGO site. 

If you want to have this done at the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU), UCF HR staff must schedule an appointment.  Please email Wendy Schrof at wschrof@ucfsd.net to schedule an appointment.

Online registration is required prior to being fingerprinted at a public site.  A few local public IdentoGO fingerprint locations are listed below.   Fingerprint Registration  

  1. Enter 1KG6XN as the code for School District Employees.
  2. The volunteer code is 1KG5Y3.  Volunteer clearances cannot be used for employment purposes.
  3. Click schedule or manage appointment.
  4. Enter requested personal information.
  5. Create security question.
  6. Enter requested personal information.
  7. Do you have an authorization code?  Answer is no.
  8. Enter requested personal information.
  9. Choose the required documents that you will bring to enrollment.
  10. Select a location.  Choose date and time.
  11. Print registration confirmation and send to Wendy Schrof at District Office, as the UE ID number is needed to access, and print the FBI report.  You will not receive a clearance report in the mail. 
  12. UCF must print the report from the IdentoGO System using the UE ID number. 
  13. Go to scheduled appointment to be fingerprinted.  Payment is made at fingerprint site.

LOCAL PUBLIC FINGERPRINT SITE LOCATIONS 

 Pennsylvania State Criminal Record Check (Act 34)  Cost $22.00

  1. Apply at PA Criminal Record Check.
  2. Chose individual request.
  3. Choose “employment” as reason for request. 
  4. Fill in requested information.
  5. Click proceed.  Enter additional requested information.  Submit and pay with credit or debit card.
  6. Be sure to click on “print certificate” to print actual clearance prior to exiting the system.  If you have a problem and you do not get your report or control number, call 888-783-7972 for assistance.
  7. Send a copy of clearance to Wendy Schrof at District Office.

Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)     Fee is $13.00

Please note MAC Users should use Chrome.  This site does not work well on Safari or Firefox browsers. 

  1. Apply at Child Welfare Portal
  2. Choose "Individual Login" if you remember your username and login.  Users cannot reset or recover a user ID.  If you do not remember the login you created, use the "Create Individual Account" to get a new username and password to access the system.
  3. Click access my clearances.
  4. Enter username and password*.
  5. Create clearance application
  6. Enter requested information and submit payment. 
  7. Choose School Employee Governed by Public School Code for the “Purpose of Clearance.”
  8. Complete clearance application.
  9. Did an organization provide a code for your application?  Answer NO
  10. Click make a payment.  Enter payment information.  Submit.
  11. Your clearance will be mailed or emailed to you depending what you chose while completing the application. 
  12. Send a copy of clearance to Wendy Schrof at District Office.

*Users may not reset or recover their User ID.  If you forgot your User ID please refer to the email titled "Commonwealth of Pennsylvania – New Account Information" that was sent to you upon account creation five years ago.  Your User ID is located there.  Please Note: If you no longer have this information you must create a new account.  If a new account is required, users may use the same email address registered with their previous account.  If you continue experiencing issues logging in to your account, contact the CWIS Support Center at 1-877-343-0494.
