Bus Driver Shortage - A National Crisis

It's no surprise that the United States is facing a school bus driver shortage. Our mission is to find and retain qualified professionals to transport our most precious cargo. Staffing remains a challenge in transportation for a number of reasons; namely due to the daily split schedule, the odd hours of work, and the rigorous licensing and credentialing requirements. As we all work together to overcome this challenge, we appreciate the patience of our students and families who may experience delays due to this issue. We also thank our loyal and dedicated school bus drivers who pitch in to help out the team when we are short staffed. In times of driver shortage, we spend a great deal of time splitting and combining bus routes to deliver our students as quickly and safely as possible. On most days, office staff and mechanics are out covering bus routes too.
