UCFSD Update: MS + HS Transition Back to Virtual Learning

Based on changes in the past week (listed here) and the dramatic spread of COVID-19 in our community we will transition to virtual learning for middle school and high school on Monday, November 16. Our elementary schools will continue in their hybrid model for the time being. View the full message here.

UCFSD Reopening Update

Last night our School Board voted unanimously to open our four elementary schools on Monday, October 12. For Middle School and High School, we continue with remote instruction for now and hope for a return to in-person instruction on October 26. The School Board also voted to affirm our fall Athletics Health and Safety Plan, which allows for UHS student-athletes to participate in an interscholastic season. Patton fall sports teams will continue with the inter-squad program at this time.

The District announced that we will be partnering with Dr. Salwa Sulieman to provide us with guidance on interpreting COVID-19 data and metrics related to our instructional model (virtual, hybrid, or fully in-person). Dr. Sulieman will deliver her first report tonight (9/14) during the School Board Work Session at 7:00 PM.  To watch live, please click the link below:
