Fundraising
Overview
Unionville Sports Council (USC) and Booster Clubs must comply with the rules governing 501(c)(3) organizations for all fundraising events and activities. Fundraising efforts should align with the mission of the USC and Booster Club sports programs by enhancing student-athlete experiences and supporting program needs not met by the UCFSD.
Approval
All Booster Club fundraising events must be approved by UCFSD Athletics. You can download and complete the required approval form here.
Fundraising Activities
We encourage creative fundraising activities that engage players and bring the community together. Examples of permitted events include:
- Athletic Events: 5K Fun Runs, 3v3 Basketball Games, Spikeball Tournaments
- Camps & Clinics: Specific to your sport
- Merchandise Sales: Spirit wear, team gear, etc.
- Dine & Donate Events
- 50/50 Raffles
- Car Washes
- Small Games of Chance (using the USC Gaming License):
- All use of the USC Gaming License must be approved by the USC Board in advance of the proposed event.
- Gaming pools for team or booster fundraising are not permitted under the USC Gaming License.
