Matson, the youngest member of Team USA at just 18-years-old, made her debut with the national team at the Hawke's Bay Cup last March. The midfielder went on to score the game-winning goal in the World League Semifinals gold medal game four months later and gave up her senior season at Unionville High School to continue to train with Team USA.
