New Leadership for UCFSD Technology

Unionville-Chadds Ford School District to Welcome Mr. Nick Suchanic as Director of Technology

Following Board approval on June 15, the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District (UCFSD) will proudly welcome Mr. Nick Suchanic as Director of Technology.

Mr. Suchanic succeeds current Director of Technology Justin Webb, who will transition to his role as the Chester County Intermediate Unit’s Chief Technology Officer in July.

Mr. Suchanic originally hails from Delaware County. He earned his undergraduate degree in Media Design at Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware. Mr. Suchanic is currently the University’s Technology Support Manager, where he leads a talented team and is responsible for planning and implementing everything from technology-enabled classrooms to the campus’s networking and system administration, and cloud services across fifteen campuses. He previously served as WilmU’s Technology Support Associate, Coordinator, and Assistant Manager.

Like all leadership positions in UCFSD, Mr. Suchanic was interviewed by a committee from across the Unionville-Chadds Ford Community. “Throughout the interview process, the committee was impressed by Nick’s thoughtful leadership style, customer service mindset, and commitment to continuing an excellent user experience for all of our students and staff,” wrote Superintendent Tim Hoffman and Assistant Superintendent Mike Audevard. “We look forward to welcoming Nick and introducing him to our community!”
