This past weekend, the Unionville High School Indoor Percussion Ensemble traveled to Dayton, Ohio to compete in the WGI World Championships. On Thursday, the Unionville Indoor Percussion Ensemble won their preliminary round with a score of 91.6375 and was one of 24 of the 47 groups in their class to advance to the semi-finals round. Friday morning they scored a 93.5 to be among the top 15 to advance to the finals competition on Friday night in Dayton Arena. Being amongst the top 15 groups in their class in the nation is a truly impressive achievement in our activity. After Friday evening's competition scores were announced, the Unionville Indoor Percussion Ensemble finished their season in 5th place with a program-record score of 93.9!
