A New Principal for Patton

New CFPMS Principal Kyle Brun greets staff

Unionville-Chadds Ford School District Appoints Kyle Brun Principal of Charles F. Patton Middle School

On Tuesday, the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District Board of Directors unanimously approved the appointment of Dr. Kyle Brun as the new Principal of Charles F. Patton Middle School (CFPMS).

Brun currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Garnet Valley Middle School and as an Adjunct Professor in West Chester University’s Doctorate of Educational Leadership and Higher Education Administration Program. He previously served as a Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction at the Garnet Valley School District and as a middle school science teacher and coach in both the West Chester Area and State College Area school districts.

“Throughout the interview process, Dr. Brun showed us that he is ready to lead, support our exceptional educators, and shape the best possible experience for our students,” said UCFSD Superintendent Dr. Tim Hoffman.

For Dr. Brun, the appointment is a homecoming. He is an alumnus of Unionville High School and a District parent. “The Unionville-Chadds Ford School District holds a special place in my heart,” he said. “As a parent of children who attended Patton Middle School, I have witnessed the exceptional education and care the staff provides that make this school such a special place. I am excited to serve in this new role and help Patton continue supporting the growth, well-being, and achievement of every student.”

Brun will begin on or before November 23.
