FOCUS is partnering with District Administration on a Zoom presentation by the UCFSD Administration on the 2019 PA Youth Survey (PAYS) of middle school and high school students on risky behavior (alcohol, drugs, etc.) and emotional well-being.
Congratulations to senior Leah Monteleone and junior Dylan Huffman who participated in the virtual NAfME All-National Choir. This is the highest level choir any high school student can participate in. We are proud of their accomplishments.

January is designated as “School Board Open House Month” in Municipal Election years. If you are considering running for School Board, a Q&A session for prospective candidates will be held before the January 25th Board Meeting via Zoom at 6:30 PM. Read more for RSVP details.

The 2020-2021 PTO Directory is now available in PowerSchool! Parents can access the directory by logging into their Parent Portal and selecting School Bulletin from the options in the left panel. From there, select the UCF PTO Directory which will then pull up this year's highly anticipated directory.

Katharine DelDotto, an educator at Unionville High School received the University of Chicago Outstanding Educator Award. Every year, UChicago gives newly admitted students the opportunity to recognize the educators who have made a difference in their lives.
The guide outlines mitigation measures to allow school in-person instruction and the education models the District is recommending to maximize in-person education while maintaining proper safety protocols.

On August 24, 2020, the Unionville-Chadds Ford School Board voted 9-0 to retire the UHS American Indian Mascot. Read more about the process and decision to retire the UHS Mascot and view Mr. Crater's presentation here.
Unionville High School Speech and Debate Team typically participates in post-season tournaments, where students must qualify in order to attend. Because of COVID-19, two were canceled and two transitioned to virtual tournaments. We have listed the students who qualified for these tournaments below to recognize their hard work and achievements even though some of them won’t be able to compete.
The Unionville Chadds-Ford School District is pleased to announce that Amy Simonds from Pocopson Elementary has been selected as the District’s recipient of the Citadel Heart of Learning Award.
Unionville High School has been honored with the SupportMusic Merit Award from The NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education.
