The following options were considered for the 2020-2021 school year. We recognize that each of the following models have advantages and disadvantages. After reviewing the pros and cons for each option, we have proposed what we consider to be the best educational options as a starting point for discussion - brick and mortar every day or an online option (UCFVA).

Congratulations to Mandi Quinn on being named the 2019-2020 Educator of the Year by the students of Unionville High School. To celebrate this well-deserved honor, a surprise parade of over 50 cars was organized by Jack Regenye to drive by and celebrate with Mrs. Quinn with signs and music and social-distance approved greetings!
The UHS Tech Ed department came together, while at home, to do their part to support healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the guidance of Mr. Mike Berkiehiser, Mr. Steve Ortega and Mr. Neil Linkmeyer, UHS students made protective face shields for local medical professionals to use during this stressful time.

Congratulations to the 2020 Delaware Valley Science Fair winners from Unionville High School! The DVSF was held virtually this year in order to still provide the opportunity for students to win scholarships and awards despite the social distancing required this year due to COVID-19. Mr. Jason Palo from Patton Middle School has been selected as one of the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association's 2020 Emerging Leader award recipients. Mr. Palo is one of only four teachers in the world recognized with the distinction this year.
Unionville High School Speech and Debate Team typically participates in post-season tournaments, where students must qualify in order to attend. Because of COVID-19, two were canceled and two transitioned to virtual tournaments. We have listed the students who qualified for these tournaments below to recognize their hard work and achievements even though some of them won’t be able to compete.
